The Opportunity
As Operations Supervisor, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with NHVR standards and company policies. You’ll lead a team, maintain strong relationships with council partners, and keep productivity benchmarks on track—all while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Your Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and monitor collection operations to meet safety and compliance standards
· Ensure administrative tasks, payroll, and reporting are completed accurately and on time
· Maintain labour usage and budget targets to achieve business objectives
· Liaise with councils to resolve issues and meet contractual KPIs
· Lead toolbox talks and drive employee engagement
· Provide clear direction, training, and support to your team
· Promote innovation and process improvements across operations
What You’ll Bring
· Proven experience in operations and people management (blue-collar industry preferred)
· HR Driver’s Licence
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage time, resolve issues, and make decisions under pressure
(Experience in waste management or domestic contracts is highly regarded but not essential.)
