Overview
We are looking for a team player to join our transfer crew at the local state of the art hatchery.
In this role, you will work with a small team, in the transfer section of the hatchery. This role is a physical role, where you will be involved in the movement of the newly hatched chicks from the incubation rooms to processing.
You will need to be physically fit and capable of lifting, pushing and pulling loads of up to 15kg.
A full physical pre-employment medical will be conducted prior to employment including drug and alcohol screening.
To accept this position, you must be able to fit into the current roster, the following timetable is on offer.
Mon: 9am – 4.30pm
Tue: 9am – 4.30pm
Wed: off
Thur: 5am – 1.30pm
Fri: 5am – 1.30pm
Sat: 5am – 2pm (penalty rates paid)
Sun: off
To comply with strict biosecurity protocols, you must not have live birds/chickens, or pigs at home, or live with anyone who works with live birds/chickens, or pigs.
This is a full time, permanent role with annual leave and personal leave accrual. Paying above award rates, and with annual pay rate increases built into their Enterprise Agreement, now is the time to join one of the world’s leading breeders in the Avian industry!
