This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor to establish and set up a new manufacturing facility in Braemar, NSW.

My client is a well-established and growing company with a successful manufacturing operation in South-West Sydney.

The job will initially involve extensive hands-on training at their Sydney facility and transferring those skills and knowledge to set up and run the Braemar facility. It is a ‘boots on the ground’ role where you will be expected to work alongside those that you are supervising.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Once established broadly the duties would be:

  • Interpret and confirm production schedule status and requirements
  • Identify crewing and maintenance required to meet schedule and organises crews to ensure the production schedule is met
  • Allocates tasks according to skills held
  • Effectively delegate tasks as required
  • Change crewing/job allocation as required to continue to meet schedules
  • Identify and resolve and/or report scheduling problems
  • Roll forming experience would be highly regarded
